2008/2009 Board Members
President - Michael Reavey
Oversees the Jack Pack Club and will work with the NAU Athletic Department Advisor on a regular basis. The President will help plan meetings and agendas, write letters for the website, recruitment of new Jack Pack members and help during athletic events. The NAU Jack Pack President will be the representative for the Jack Pack at necessary functions on and off campus (ASNAU, SAAC, Flagstaff Chamber, LAA, etc.).
Vice President - Adam McFarlin
Works closely with the President and assist with items described in the Presidents description when needed; the Vice President will work with the President to create new rules and ideas to improve the Jack Pack experience for it’s members. The Vice President is also expected to help at athletic events.
Marketing and Promotions Coordinator - Lindsee Pace
This position will help with the recruitment, fliers, and general marketing tasks to improve the student attendance at athletic events and the overall experience during the events. This position will also assist with maintaining the NAU Jack Pack website by keeping it up to date, fun and informative. The Marketing and Promotions Coordinator is also expected to help at athletic events.
Treasurer - Angela Barnes
In charge of the Jack Pack budget and all financial dealings within the Jack Pack. This position will work directly with the President and Advisor in making decisions concerning how to produce and spend the Jack Pack budget. The Treasurer will be required to attend and work any event where the Jack Pack will be selling items or raising funds.
Media Relations - Ian Johnson
Responsible for the design and maintenance of the official Jack Pack website. This includes acquiring and adding recent photos, helping the Marketing and Promotions Coordinator and Advisor keep the front-page information up to date and adding new members as they sign-up. The Media Relations position will also be the Jack Pack’s liaison to all media by setting-up interviews, getting Jack Pack event information out to the appropriate outlets, and writing press releases. The position will help at athletic events.
Event Administrator - Mitch Greener
This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing all Jack Pack events. This includes game day events, campus events and fund raisers. The Event Administrator will work directly with the Jack Pack board and the Athletic Advisor to accomplish set goals for the position.
Secretary - Available
Attend all Jack Pack meetings to take attendance and minutes for future reference. The Secretary will be expected to have input to the Jack Pack operations and future plans. If needed the Secretary maybe asked to help at athletic events.
Dorm Representative - Available
This position is responsible for getting all Jack Pack information distributed on campus and in the NAU dorms by working directly with the dorm directors and RHD’s. The Dorm Representatives will work with the President and Advisor to accomplish any task at hand.
